Building things
close to the metal.

I'm a systems engineer and Rust developer. I care about the parts of a system most people never see; the layers where reliability, performance, and correctness are decided.

I live inside the shell and Sublime Text.

~/about

About Me

I work in IT systems engineering and I'm moving toward a DevOps role where I still get to write real code. Rust is my primary language; I reach for Python and Bash when the job calls for them.

I like understanding the why behind a design decision, not just the how; and I'd rather sit with a hard problem than paper over it. Lately that curiosity has been pulling me toward developing a socialmedia platform.

Outside of that, I run and maintain a few things of my own, and I'm always happy to talk about systems, infrastructure, and the trade-offs underneath.

Apart from IT, my hobbies do include but are not limited to:

  • Doing city trips
  • Meeting new people
  • Listening to a lot of music
  • Meeting up with friends
