Networking

Most of my professional day-to-day touches networking in some form. At sys-fn.de that meant administering Ubiquiti switches alongside the Linux side of 2nd & 3rd level support, and my apprenticeship included firewall work as part of a broader IBM systems environment.

That's given me a practical, troubleshooting-first relationship with networking: VLANs and switch configuration, routing basics, firewall rules, and the instinct to check the network layer first when something "isn't connecting" turns out not to be a code problem at all.

I don't design large networks from scratch, but I'm comfortable operating, securing, and debugging the ones I'm handed.
